For sale: A classic! 1968 Mercury Cougar XR7. A one-owner beauty with 80,000 original miles. Runs great and is in very good working condition - including rare air-conditioning. This car is located in Wichita KS and is being sold by Stubbs Estates, representing the estate. The original 1968 title will be included.

About the car: Runs great - engine sounds very good! This is not a pristine show car, but a one-owner car with a few dings, a little bit of rust, a near-perfect vinyl top, air conditioning (pretty rare for a car that age and adds 15% more to the valuation), brand new battery, wipers, interior lights, exterior beams, turn signals - all work very well. Driver's seat leather needs repair/replacing, all other seating is pristine.

This is, simply said, a HUGE sale - the scope and breadth of items presented is absolutely phenomenal. Thanks to some VERY generous artwork donors, significant 19th and 20th C works will be available to Wichitans for the first time. Many were originally purchased from Sotheby’s and other fine auction houses and will be premiered here. The sale of these works will benefit the new MARK Arts’ continued efforts to culturally enrich our fair city.

In addition, a significant collection of 12, early-foundry, Charles Remington bronzes out of a private collection will be available for the first time here, as well.
Native American Fine Art and museum-quality Navajo rugs is also making a debut here. They will take your breath away - they are that fine and in fine condition. And artworks by Black Bear Bosin, Woody Crumbo, Sand paintings, and originals on canvas and prints.

The artwork is only a small part of what’s being offered for this 4-day sale. We’ve cleared out ALL the studios - jewelry-making, pottery, painting studios and their easels, early childhood classrooms - everything not taken to the new location - and there’s a LOT! Including a nearly new front-loading kiln.
If that’s not enough, a luxurious Vickridge estate has been added to fill one of the galleries for some spectacular furniture shopping - monumental dining table, chairs, couches, Asian cabinets, Persian and custom rugs. Pretty amazing stuff.
